Salice Silentia Soft-Close Hinges

The Salice Silentia hinge is the only hinge, worldwide, with the soft-close function integrated into the cup. This provides the neatest solution available in the market, as the decelerating system is fully hidden from view. Because the soft-close mechanism is built into the hinge, no additional components need to be ordered.  The soft-close hinge will function straight out of the carton.

A full range of different overlay and angled Silentia hinges are offered, as part of the standard range. To increase confidence that the full range of hinges are made to last, they have been fully tested and approved to the German LGA standard, which consists of an 80,000 cycle test. Also, the new shallower cup depth enables these hinges to be used on 16 mm thick doors. Included in the product range is a special drill bit that Häfele offers specifically for the preparation of 16mm doors for Silentia hinges.
