Come to Häfele for a design & specification seminar devoted to the intricacies of glass. Learn how to specify different types, including decorative and privacy glass. You will leave with the information you need to confidently choose glass for any application. This presentation earns 1.0 CEU / IIDA, ASID. AIA credit is applied for.
Learning Objectives:
Understanding glazing limitations using GANA (Glass Association of North America) standards and guidelines to evaluate if a specified product is adequate for given design.
Define decorative glazing using existing projects to illustrate options and uses on the interior of a building.
Present new developments in specialty glazing products using completed projects to define current technologies available.
Explain three basic components of fire protection as it relates to glazing using manufacturers test data to appropriately identify product selection in an application.
