Q: How many locks can I have?
A: You can YNOTLOC an entire house. Using the magnetic wand system, up to 30 locks can be installed off the one power supply. Using the master switch, a maximum of 10 locks will work of the one switch. We recommend one wand or master switch per room for ease of use.

Q: What if the power goes off?
A: In addition to the low voltage power supply, we offer an optional battery pack which acts as a back-up, kicking in if the power goes off so you can still access your cupboards and drawers.

Q: Does it use power and if so how much?
A: YNOTLOC is powered by a low voltage power supply, however power usage is minimal as the locks only draw power when the magnetic wand or central switch is used.

Q: What if I only want my cupboards locked some of the time?
A: YNOTLOC features a hidden over-ride mechanism. Just move the red tab on the lock to the side, and the drawer or cupboard will remain unlocked. Ideal for households where children are only present some of the time. Drawers and cupboards can be left unlocked while children are away for ease of access then, reactivated when children are present.

Q: Can kids learn how to open these locks like other products on the market?
A: Other products on the market, such as the hook and lever and external zip lock, can be bypassed by clever toddlers. With YNOTLOC, locks are strong enough to prevent forced entry and so long as the wand or master switch is kept out of reach, cannot be breached by children.

Q: What if I forget to relock?
A: Unlike other products on the market that require you to lock manually, YNOTLOC automatically locks for you. When using the magnetic wand, YNOTLOC automatically relocks on closing. When using the master switch, YNOTLOC automatically relocks after a set period of time – 30 seconds or 2 minutes depending on your preference. The result is a safer, easier and more effective product, taking away the risk of you forgetting to lock a cupboard or drawer and with no added layers of burden.

Q: How does it work?
A: Securing drawers and cupboards without external fittings or damage, YNOTLOC positions locks at the backs of drawers to avoid compromising space or appearance.
An electro-magnetic locking system, YNOTLOC is powered by a low voltage plug pack that draws power only when the magnetic wand or central switch is used. An optional battery pack is also available as a back-up if the power goes off.
YNOTLOC features three easy methods of unlocking.
1. A magnetic wand allows you to open individual cupboards and drawers for selected one-off access. Simply wave the wand past the magnetic sensor hidden inside the drawer or cupboard to unlock. To reactivate, just close the drawer or cupboard.
2. A master switch allows you to unlock all cupboards and drawers at the same time. Ideal for when unpacking the dishwasher or cooking in the kitchen, all connected drawers and cupboards automatically relock after a set period.
3. A hidden tab on each lock that can be used to deactivate for longer periods, ideal for when the grandchildren come and go.
