Guidelines and Rules

Häfele America Co. (“Häfele”) invites you to submit photographic images of projects in which you have been involved and which use or incorporate Häfele products. 

ELIGIBILITY:

Project Gallery submission is limited to legal residents of the United States and Canada. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. 

ENTRY SUBMISSION:

When participating in this project, you will be asked to provide first and last name, city, state, zip code, and email address.  You will also be asked to select a project type, to describe the Häfele hardware used in the project, and to describe the reason for the project.  You may upload one (1) photo of the project.  This photo must be in JPEG format and no greater than 500 k in size.  You will then be asked to accept the Häfele America Co. release and agree to be bound by these rules.  You may submit more than one project, but each submittal shall be separate and with one photo uploaded for each submittal. 

PHOTO SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION PROCESS:

Once you have completed the entry process, the photo will be submitted to an internal review process by the Häfele Project Administrators.  Participants whose submissions are selected will be contacted by the Project Administrators, by phone or email, for announcement of selection and, if we believe it desirable, to obtain additional information for posting on the Häfele Web site.  We may wish to provide identifying information about the images, the location of the projects, and the parties involved in the project.  If you do not wish for your name, the location of the project, information about the project, and the parties involved in the project, please let us know when submitting your photo.  Photos which are submitted may be retained for use at a later time by Häfele or may be deleted from its system, all in the sole discretion of Häfele.

DISCLAIMER:

Häfele reserves the right to reject any contribution that 1) doesn't comply with our guidelines; 2) is deemed offensive, obscene or libelous; or 3) is otherwise rejected in its sole discretion.  Häfele may retain images you provide to it and reserves the right to use your image at a later date, unless you notify us in writing that you wish to withdraw an image you have uploaded.  Häfele reserves the right to edit text and crop photos to fit our format.

OWNERSHIP AND RIGHTS TO THE PHOTO:

You must own the full copyright to any image you upload or have the right or permission to do so from all others who might have rights in the images.  Uploading images/work that belong to somebody else (copyright or otherwise) will result in rejection of submission and in some cases may create legal ramifications for you.  If your photo is of property of another person or entity, you must have their consent to your submission of the photo.  In addition, you must have the consent of all persons depicted in the photograph you are submitting, including permission from parents of minors.

POSTING:

Häfele will feature the selected photo and projects on the designated photo page and may include a self photo of the submitting party or other information collected from him/her.  Photo selection and publishing, including the dates for beginning and termination of publication, will occur at the sole discretion of the Project Administrator.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

No automated and/or repetitive submission of entries (including but not limited to entries using any script, macro, or sweepstakes services) will be accepted.  By entering this promotion you give your consent for Häfele to deliver your submission and/or personal information to Project Administrators for the purpose of administering the project.  Only Häfele and Project Administrators will have access to the personal information.  Information will be used in accordance with Häfele's online privacy policy.  

In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an entry or the identity of an online participant, each online submission will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address attached at the time of submission.  Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Service Provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.  The submitting participant may be required to provide Häfele and Project Administrators with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected photo.
