Häfele Kitchen Design Award 2019

Häfele Kitchen Design Award 2019 is a design competition to promote the creativity of young designers as well as to provide an opportunity for students creating new ideas and applying skills in kitchen design. Under the concept of "Cultural Heritage" were integrated Häfele products into the kitchen design to develop a new kitchen lifestyle.

The jury of this competition consisting of many savants with outstanding skills such as Khun PALACH PAINUPONG, Interior Designer, Khun Kitti Roemcharoendee, Managing Director National Furniture Ltd., Khun Songpot Saisueb, Lecturer of the Faculty of Architecture, Naresuan University, Khun Kitipoom Srisomnuek, Editor in Chief at BLT and Dr Kanokwan Trakulyingcharoen, art4d magazine and digital media editor. This competition was split into 2 categories: the Compact Kitchen Design for students and the Luxury Heritage Design for Young Designers.

The winner of Compact Kitchen Design Category

The winning team - Dek E-Sarn Team, Students of the Faculty of Architecture at Khon Kaen University - received a scholarship of 60,000 THB.

The 1st runner up - LAR-VA Team, Students of the Faculty of Architecture at Khon Kaen University - received a scholarship of 30,000 THB

The 2nd runner up - Khonkaen Boys Team, Students of the Faculty of Architecture at Khon Kaen University received a scholarship of 20,000 THB.

 The winner of Luxury Heritage Design Category 

The winning team “Kua Thai Hua Jai Mae Nam Team” received besides a scholarship of 60,000 THB a trip to visit the famous World Fair Euro Cucina in Italy worth 200,000 THB and get the chance to present their design at Häfele booth at Architect’63.

The 1st runner up- “EDGE” team received a scholarship of 30,000 THB and the 2nd runner up - “Kaniche” team - received a scholarship of 20,000 THB.

 

Häfele doesn't believe that Thai Designers are less talented compared to designers of other nations. Hafele is proud to push the Thai Designers to be well known and to give a stage demonstrating their skills to the public. Thai Designers are equivalent to international standards as well.
