New order in the modular system: Slido, the comprehensive system for sliding solutions developed by Häfele, provides almost unlimited design options in planning and production – from small furniture doors to large acoustic walls. The best orientation is provided by the recent reorganisation of the diversified product range into four application areas, which makes it possible for planning to be even more targeted. A particular focus is on Slido Wall when doing this. This product range provides sliding solutions for customisable, mobile partition wall systems which can also be used on a large scale in heavily frequented public buildings.

Solutions for flexible furnishing concepts

One room but different scenarios: a breakfast room becomes a conference area in an instant, a hotel suite becomes a co-working space and a living room becomes a home office – and vice versa. A versatile room design which makes a wide variety of uses possible and allows temporary separation or opening of defined areas to take place is more in demand than ever. With clever system solutions, flexible furnishing concepts can now be realised in all conceivable residential and business areas. However, the planning thereof is a challenge.

On a small and large scale

Häfele, the hardware technology, electronic access control system and lighting specialist has been working on innovative solutions for furniture and rooms which can be individually adapted and deployed in all industries and types of building since 2009. The result is Slido, a modular system for sliding solutions for furniture, interior rooms and other areas for public buildings which are accessible to the public.   Sliding solutions for space-saving solutions with room doors.
• Slido Room
  Sliding solutions for room dividing and room partition systems, such as room-in-room solutions, walk-in wardrobes or storage space beneath stairs.
• Slido Wall
  Sliding solutions for mobile partition wall systems with bigger dimensions. Slido Wall makes it possible to integrate other Häfele components to make the system acoustically effective or embellish it with LED screens or lighting.

Partition wall systems from Häfele can be found in prestigious buildings all over the world: in the Hall of Mirrors at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin, in the luxurious Siam Paragon shopping mall in Bangkok and in the Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore. One of the outstanding options which can be realised with Slido Wall are passage doors with mobile partition walls made from glass. At the same time, the system can be equipped in an acoustically effective way. In connection with this, Häfele Product Development emphasises the following: "Ultra-modern architectures require functionally strong and intelligently designed solutions. Therefore, Slido Wall is not designed as a series product, but an individually customisable system for all industries and building types."

• New: Slido D Line11:
  A new generation – a sliding door fitting for linear sliding doors or room doors made from wood or glass; the frame profile is available in black and silver. Easy, comfortable and smooth operation, even with heavy use. Soft and self closing mechanism with fluid technology and optional push-to-open function.

• Upgrade: Slido R-Aluflex:
  Sliding door fitting for special room situations such as walk-in wardrobes, room-in-room solutions, and storage space beneath stairs, in sloping ceilings or in knee walls.

• Upgrade: Slido D-Line41:
  Sliding hardware especially for interior passage doors and for use in public buildings. Low opening force for ease of operation. The puristic/elegant design and the invisibly integrated running technology fulfil the highest of aesthetic demands. The track is optionally available in black or silver coloured.
