IT Business Analyst

SUMMARY
As the IT Business Analyst your primary job function is to analyze, document, test new & existing software applications to support of the achievement of business requirements. This position will liaison with all levels of the business (possibly including customers) and the IT teams, which will allow the require the ability to see the application from the user's point of view at the subsystem level or higher.  You will need to be able to work between the business and IT Teams to understand and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business and leverage the technical best practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience in gathering and writing detailed business/functional requirements and test scenarios based upon customer needs.
Implementation experience in Oracle release 11i and/or 12 in at least two of the following areas Oracle Financial (AP,AR,GL) Oracle Procurement (Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory Management, WMS )
Work with the business functional areas and IT Teams to research and identify the functional/technical solution to support the most efficient business processes
Gathering, Documenting & understanding business/system requirements
Ensure the development staff is properly informed of the business/customization requirements
Stay abreast of technological changes and advancements

REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years of experience ERP Systems
Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines
Ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Identify issues and recommend multiple resolutions when necessary
SQL Experience, relational database query tools
Knowledge of the software development life cycle
Exposure to a formal Project Management methodology Agile preferred
Ability to drive projects from beginning to end
Ability to collaborate with internal and external teams

Territory Sales Representative - Michigan
 

SUMMARY
The purpose of the TSR is to travel within the defined territory promoting Hafele hardware (cabinet and architectural) to manufacturers, designers, engineers and architects. The focus is on sales and support to existing customers and specifiers ,and development of customers and specifiers determined to have good potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and maintain a detailed sales and support plan for the territory.
• Travel daily within the territory to visit customers, potential customers and specifiers.
• Maintain consistent contact with customers to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Develop a daily agenda of customer visits to demonstrate current and speculative products and assist in customer hardware decisions including new product development. Determine the customer’s needs.
• Provide accurate reports on daily activities to Sales Management at regular intervals.
• Prepare price quotations and write orders subject to approval by Hafele Management.
• Maintain detailed files on previous, current and future customer product presentations and associated meetings
• Travel to trade shows within and outside of the territory. This may include nights and weekends.
• Participate in required training (product, computer, sales etc) within and outside of the territory.
• Keep company informed on competitive products, promotional matter, sales techniques, pricing, warranty and marketing policies.
• Complete product and market research reports as directed by sales and Marketing Management.

Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager
 

SUMMARY
The Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager works with business area managers to improve quality in all aspects of operations and establishes, implements and maintains the quality management system based on ISO 9000 standard requirements.

This position also reports on the performance of the quality management system to the top management and any need for improvement.

This position will also promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization and serve as the liaison with external parties on matters relating to Hafele America Co.'s quality management system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other special projects and duties may be assigned.

•  Identify opportunities for business process improvement and coordinate the company's Corrective/Preventive Action Plan

•  Ensure the effectiveness of the company's Quality System

•  Coordinate the project management efforts of the organization

• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure alignment of information systems, business processes and the quality system

•  Report to executive management on the effectiveness of the business processes

•  Establish methods for and coordinate the effective dissemination of process information within the organization

• Ensure the effective implementation of process improvements

• Implements quality improvement programs at all North American locations

• Suggests possible improvements to business area managers and corporate management

• Works closely with product management and purchasing department to continually improve service and product quality from vendors

• Promotes quality and ongoing improvement throughout the company

• Assists in resolving problems in all departments pertaining to procedures and company policy

• Evaluates format, design, and improvement of all existing and newly-created QMS documents

•  Evaluates all changes or improvements submitted to determine if they should be passed on to corporate management for review

•  Monitors new procedures as needed to ensure they are working as intended.  Audits departmental procedures to ensure compliance with ISO standards and process procedures.

•  Reports on customer complaints and returns to determine any trends or reoccurring problems with products.

•  Establishes and manages internal audit program.  Plans and schedules internal audits on the basis of the status and importance of the processes and areas being audited, and the results of previous audits.  Monitors, reviews and improves internal audit program

•  Establishes the responsibilities and procedures for internal auditing

•  Selects and trains the internal auditors

•  Reviews and approves internal audit reports and their distribution to the affected areas

•   Reports the results of internal audits for management review

•   Ensures that follow-up activities on corrective/preventive actions are conducted and follow-up results are reviewed, recorded and reported to the management

•  Maintains internal audit record

•  Establishes and maintains QMS documents

•  Give guidance to the Quality Personnel on the handling of quality issues and the daily operations of the Quality and Returns Department as needed.

Project Service Specialist

 

SUMMARY
The Project Service Group provides support and project management for all of Hafele project business needs including all hardware products, custom sliding hardware applications and all other custom (Made-To-Order) items. This support includes processing sales leads and inquiries, generating quotes and orders as well as follow-up through project closure.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support
Manage all project requirements, including:
CAD Detailing, receiving, researching, answering and following up on internal and external customer & sales representatives inquiries regarding projects, products, prices, shipment tracing and documentation, including submittals, specifications and catalogs.

Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.

Technical Knowledge
Auto CAD operation and detailing.
Consulting for products and application and troubleshooting applications / installations.
Ability to read, interpret and review architectural construction documents (drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, and product data)
Provide technical support for specification inquiries.  Manage those throughout the project as needed.

Process / Project Management
Strong ability to review current customer/project needs and provide product solutions.
Understanding and knowledge of construction process, construction document process and technical aptitude.
