Lighting Project Designer Coordinator

Summary
The Project Services Group provides support and project management for all of Hafele project business needs including all hardware products, custom sliding hardware applications and all other custom Made-To-Order) items which includes lighting projects and lighting designs. This support includes processing sales leads and inquiries, generating quotes and orders as well as follow-up through project closure.


Support

Manage all project requirements, including:

Receiving, researching, answering and following up on internal and external customer & sales representatives inquiries regarding lighting projects; produce layout and parts list per customer’s/project’s needs. Provide support on products, prices, shipment tracing and documentation, including submittals, specifications and catalogs as well as design layout.

Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.

Technical Knowledge

Technical knowledge of construction industry and Kitchen & Bath standards.

Consulting for products and application and troubleshooting applications / installations.

Ability to read, interpret and review architectural construction documents (drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules, product data).

Regional Director

Summary   

Drives the direct sales, builds deep client relationships with major influencers and users, and oversees the implementation and execution of our sales strategies, all to ensure the attainment of regionally focused objectives.  Plans, directs and controls the sales and business activities for the region to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.  Prepares quarterly and annual forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential.  Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategy implementation and good organization/time management skills.  Responsible for the implementation of marketing programs and the staffing requirements to ensure customer and corporate satisfaction.  Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations.  Partners with sales support and marketing in activities such as sales promotion and training.  Primary duties are the development and implementation of Sales Strategies, as well as the effective management of direct reports.

About the Job

The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) travels within the defined territory promoting Häfele hardware (cabinet and architectural) to manufacturers, designers, engineers and architects. The focus is on sales and support to existing customers and specifiers as well as the development of prospective customers and specifiers.
 

What will be Expected of You

Develop and maintain a detailed sales and support plan for the territory.

Maintain consistent contact with customers to maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Develop a daily agenda of in-person customer visits to demonstrate current and speculative products and assist in customer hardware decisions including new product development. Determine the customer’s needs.

Prepare price quotations and write orders subject to approval by Häfele Management.

Travel to trade shows within and outside of the territory. This may include nights and weekends.

Participate in required training (product, computer, sales, etc.) within and outside of the territory.
