Connected Living with Häfele at KBIS 2020

Archdale, North Carolina, USA, January 21, 2020

  • Häfele’s Loox system makes more things in your home work than ever before
  • Connectivity like never before
  • New lighting fixture options make Loox shine

With lighting becoming a standard in today’s homes Häfele America Co. took on the task of taking our designer- and installer-friendly Loox LED lighting system and making it better and more customizable than ever before for your customers and projects. At the 2020 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in booth SL1220 Häfele will be unveiling the all-new Häfele Connect Hub that takes connected home capabilities to a new level with voice activation.

Working in concert with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and other similar devices, users are able to customize and operate Häfele products throughout the home. Through the connectivity between the Häfele BLE Mesh Box and the wireless Häfele Connect Hub, users can customize and control their sound system, Häfele Loox LED lighting, TV lifts and select cabinet flap fittings throughout the home all with voice activation.

“The Häfele Connect Hub expands on the previous Häfele Connect system,” says Jeff Ratkus, Häfele America Co. category manager. “With the Häfele Connect Hub, that controls everything through voice activation, there’s also a new BLE Mesh Box, BLE Wall Switch where users can control everything from a panel on the wall, and a remote.”

The Häfele Connect Hub is user-friendly and easily programmable. The Bluetooth wall switch is battery operated and can be easily surface mounted anywhere in the room.

Also making its U.S. debut at KBIS 2020 are all the updated elements of Häfele’s propriety Loox5 LED — a system which is easier to install and infinitely smarter than the system it replaces. All-new lighting system elements being shown include updated LED strips, pucks, drivers and more. Strip lighting options offer the same or better lighting in a robust, 5 mm wide package. Additionally, the optional extrusions have expanded to include black lenses which offer subtle, diffused lighting for greater flexibility in design and style.

The app is free and available for download on iOS and Android devices.
