Panel Assembly … Upgraded
Putting together small furniture, associated drawer boxes and the like can be an inefficient struggle with tools, clamps, glue, dowels, screws and frustration. And that’s even before cleaning up. With one inspired piece of hardware, Häfele has changed all this and more: Häfele’s Ixconnect Spreading Connector SC 8/25. All you need is a few 8 mm holes to get started. Once assembled, furniture put together with the SC 8/25 won’t come apart. No wonder the SC 8/25 was nominated as an IWF Challengers Award finalist for 2018.
Save the Gymnastics for Someone Else
Up until now, leveling cabinetry has been either an uncomfortable mix of shims or adjustable cabinet feet and a level—and some exhausting gymnastics necessary to make it all work. Well the innovators at Häfele America Co. have devised another way to level kitchen, office, wardrobe or other cabinetry: the revolutionary, new Axilo™ Plinth Adjusting Fitting System. Axilo means plinth leveling in just a few manual operations. The adjusting tool acts as an arm extension. No more bending, crawling or stretching—with Axilo you can easily reach the rear feet of the plinth as well.

The all-new Hailo Libero 2.0, debuting at IWF 2018, is an electronic, hands-free opening mechanism for practically any base cabinet pull-out. Because sometimes using your hands just isn’t an option. The mechanism operates the pull-out via a foot sensor or with an optional remote control making it ultra-friendly. The Libero 2.0 is for base cabinets from 12” (300mm) to 48” (1200mm) wide making it easy to retrofit. It can also be used in face frame applications provided the unit is blocked out and activated via the optional remote. Users can even customize opening force and other features via an easy-to-use mobile app.
Fashion and Function Combine in the Closet
Making its debut at IWF Atlanta is a program for closet designers and installers to make their organization and storage projects truly custom: dECOLeather® Recycled Leather Veneer (RLV) by EcoDomo. This program allows for the selection of custom leather doors, drawer fronts, shelves, liners and countertops made to exact specification in a variety of unique finishes.
