Häfele to Showcase New Kitchen Storage and Lighting Solutions at KBIS

Häfele (02-03-2014) Archdale, N.C., USA, February 3, 2014 – Häfele America Co., a leading supplier of furniture and architectural hardware components, will demonstrate how innovative hardware products, smart design and quality craftsmanship can be combined to create kitchens that are not only beautiful, but also highly functional at the 2014 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) February 4-6, in Las Vegas, NV.

Häfele Booth Showcases Beauty, Quality and Function in the KitchenHäfele’s booth will feature two fully outfitted kitchens, a craft area and a mudroom closet display that was designed in collaboration with Mary Jo Peterson, a renowned designer and leader in the Universal Design movement. By presenting products in real application settings, visitors can see tangible examples of how Häfele’s expansive assortment of storage solutions, decorative and functional hardware, sliding door fixtures and LED lighting products can be integrated into the design of any space to maximize its flexibility, functionality and aesthetics. In addition to Peterson, Häfele partnered with several industry leaders to build the kitchens including  Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, Showplace Cabinetry, Jenn-Air® Appliances, Silestone, DuPont Corian and Grothouse Lumber Company.

Loox LED Cabinetry Lighting
Throughout the booth, attendees will see how Häfele’s comprehensive line of LED cabinet lighting solutions can be used to enhance the functionality and beauty of any cabinet space. Häfele’s expanded product line of LED lights are offered in a broad range of light intensities and color temperatures, providing even greater options and flexibility to create whatever lighting effect is desired. The Loox lighting system is based on Plug & Play technology, which makes the drivers and switches easy to specify and install.  Häfele also offers a free lighting design service where customers can send in their cabinet plans and receive a recommended cabinet lighting layout from a kitchen and lighting design professional.

Lavido Pantry Pull-Out
The fully accessorized kitchens in the Häfele booth will showcase Häfele’s extensive line of cabinet, shelf and drawer organization products, including the new Lavido Pantry Pull-Out System. This pantry organizer features soft-open and soft-close functions that ensure a smooth operation. The height-adjustable pantry trays have a non-slip surface to keep stored items from sliding while the shelves are moving. Once in its extended position, the Lavido provides full access to shelves from three sides.

Häfele Supports the NKBA Through Competitions and KBIS EventsAs a strong supporter of the industry, Häfele is a Gold sponsor of the 2014 NKBA Design Competion. Winners will be announced on Monday, February 3, to kick off the show. In addition, Häfele is sponsoring a pre-conference NKBA Professional Development Course on LED Lighting on Monday, February 3. The course, Seeing as We Age: Lighting and Aging in Place is being presented by Daniel Blitzer, Principal of the The Practical Lighting Workshop, LLC.
