  • Installation: Used with automatic (LHFB810) or self-latching (LHFB710) flush bolts
    Inactive Door:
    1. Measure 6” (152 mm) from bottom of the inactive door
    2. Drill Ø7/8” x 3 7/16” (22 x 87 mm) deep hole for fire latch bolt
    Active Door:
    1. Drill a Ø1” x 1 3/4” (25 x 44 mm) deep hole for plug at the exact same height as the fire latch bolt
    2. Install plug in door

Area of application

This fire latch bolt is a temperature actuated bolt.
Installs horizontally in the lower edge of the inactive door with a matching hole on the active door.
Automatically extends from the inactive door into the active door locking both doors together.
