For selective control of furniture locks
Supports plug and play installation in furniture

  • Connection cable between reader and control module is supplied by customer. Cable type is RS485, PLTC/CM 22AWG, or CL3R C(UL) CMR 18AWG.
    Reader is mounted into reader socket.
    Minimum clearance between 2 readers is 250 mm (9 13/16").
    Wall terminals must be installed by a qualified electrician, in compliance with all governing codes.
    Reader must be surface mounted if it is applied to a metal face of a control panel or similar application.

Notes for operation and installationConnection between wall reader and electronic control unit with four core installation cable in compliance with VDE 0815. Type J-Y (St) Y 2 x 2 x 0.8 mm (twisted pair, shielded), max. length 100 m (please contact Dialock specialist for other lengths).
Installation of wall reader in flush mounted box with 2 device fastening screws (distance 60 mm in compliance with DIN).Make sure the fastening points on the flush mounted box are horizontal.
Minimum distance between 2 wall readers 250 mm.
The installation of the wall reader in metal surroundings must be planned.
Programming during stand-alone operation is not possible. Planning by Dialock specialists is required.
Following furniture locks can be connected to the MLA 8: EFL 3, EFL 6, EFL 41
The MLA 8 R with relay output ports can be used for any electrical load (e.g. electric strike).
