Metal door thickness: minimum 50 mm (2”)
Stiles should be a minimum of 125 mm (4 1/2”) toaccommodate hanger aprons
Wood doors should be framed, ledged and braced
For industrial or commercial and barn doors
Top hung straight sliding doors on single runs of track
Metal doors angle framed or hollow tubular sections, sheeted one or both sides
Ensure adequate bracing
Weatherhoods by installer are recommended on external doors
Track brackets are side-mounted
Floor channel is set flush, but the stay roller floor guide is an alternative
All hangers can be adjusted vertically

  • Use of this heavier track increases max. door weight to 400 kg (880 lbs.) provided adequate track support brackets are used
