Archdale, North Carolina, USA, August 25, 2020 – A lot has changed over the past few months. But for many, work remains the same — whether it’s completed in a commercial office, at home or in a flex space of some sort — what’s needed to increase productivity, foster wellness, organize your things and keep it all powered up remains the same.  And this is why Häfele America Co. will feature a wide range of innovative office, furniture construction and power and data solutions at its Virtual IWF Trade Show from August 25-27.

The foundation of most office spaces is a desk or other working surface. For the show, Häfele is unveiling the company’s latest option: the Essential – Electric Adjustable Table Base. This cost effective system can be had with simple “up/down” controls or a 4-setting programmable switch for added personalization. Available finishes include your choice of silver, black or white. 

“The majority of work environments these days start with a desk or desk hardware like the Essential and build things out from there,” explains Steve Hubbard, category manager for Häfele. “Accommodating up to a six foot tabletop means this hardware could work just fine for anyone across any role or environment.”

Base widths for the Essential go from 48” to 72” with a height range from 26” up to 45” and a maximum load rating of 250 lbs. (including the tabletop). We recommend the optional Anti-Sag Bar for tops over 60” wide.

Whether you’re in need of a simple privacy screen or some added peace of mind during these times, Häfele now offers a range of clear and frosted Acrylic Privacy Screens in 30” x 24” or 32” x 30” (width x height) sizes. Made from ¼” thick material, each screen comes with a 1” x 10” transaction window. Custom sizes and custom printing is also available.

Also new for this year’s IWF show are the Charging Grommet and Edge Mount Charging Grommet from Docking Drawer. Equipped with USB-C Power Delivery, these units offer 46 watts of power and can charge devices up to 70% faster. We also have a Docking Drawer Blade Duo USB-C with Power Delivery (PD) located in our garage display as it’s the ideal in-drawer charging solution for power tool battery charging and other components. This family of products is available in standard or GFCI outlet configurations. A built-in smart chip instantly recognizes charging needs of individual devices and responds with the appropriate level of power. Our Pop-Up Power Station with three outlets is also in the office area which conveniently pulls out of the tabletop when needed and goes back down when no longer needed.

Adding even more functionality to the desktop space is Häfele’s Ellipta Monitor Arm which removes computer monitors from the desk surface and allows users to have additional space, as well as more freedom in placement. Our LED Desktop Lamp helps keep surface areas bright and devices charged with built-in USB ports. Cable management can be handled by circular plastic or metal grommets in a variety of finishes or more upscale rectangular or square grommets complete with brush seals.
