Archdale, North Carolina, USA, August 25, 2020 – Connections — both big and small — is the type of innovation which Häfele continues to be at the forefront of. Our family of Ixconnect connectors gives you the hardware to put together small furniture, large furniture, wooden drawers and more. Our latest patented, Häfele-exclusive innovations give you quick, reliable connections for your projects and will be on display as part of our Virtual IWF Trade Show August 25-27.
Faster installation, fewer parts and fewer mistakes are possible with the all-new Häfele Ixconnect Claw Connector CC 8/5/30. The single piece of hardware connects wooden drawers quickly and easily without tools.
“Grab like never before with this quick and invisible claw connector,” says Jon Farlow, category manager for Häfele. “Simple machining combined with the ability for customers to put pieces together helps to save time and increase shop efficiency.”
All you need is a few standard drill holes (front: 8 mm, side: 5 mm) for the patented CC 8/5/30 to claw into the perpendicular panel material, making a nice, tight fit. Wooden drawer panels as thin as a half inch have a reliable, invisible connection when the claw bites into the MDF panels.
Complementing our claw connector is the Ixconnect Rear Panel Connector RPC D 5/24 for easy assembly of wooden drawers with strip grooved rear panels.

When it comes to connections, they’re not always permanent, nor do they need to be. With the Häfele Ixconnect Spreading Connector SC 8/60 large pieces of furniture can be assembled and disassembled as needed for transport.
The SC 8/60 is almost completely invisible once assembled leaving a clean look with this connection. It spreads out and pulls furniture parts together with a 180 degree turn using a hex key. Machining is a standard 8 mm bore, with no glue or clamps needed and a simple hex key allows you take apart or put together your project as needed. Panels can be as thin as 15 mm.
Working in concert with the SC 8/60 the Ixconnect Rear Panel Connect RPC S 15/25 screws in the rear panel from the front side with no drill hole required. The connector is used with standard 15mm holes and serves as a mounting aid for the rear panel.

The Ixconnect Spreading Connector SC 8/25 is ideal for putting together small furniture and/or associated drawer boxes with no tools or glue. All you need is a few 8 mm holes to get started. Furniture is efficiently assembled with the SC 8/25 and won’t come apart. A definite must-have for any woodworking project with scale of production.
